The Shuffle

I could never ever do that dance, I was just little scared to make a fool of myself.

But when the first beat of Cameo Candy drops everybody who knows the dance stops everything and lines up to that dance. Some people do it perfectly, some people make mistakes and some people just get in way.

Anyway as I have so much time my hands I became one of those people who studies music video. Oh you know those people who can do that bloody dance from single ladies from every movement cause they have no job like me.

I decided I should start learning this dance and did and occasionally randomly bust a move in my bedroom. As the ground started to shake I think my flatmate must think there's a earthquake.

But then last night Mary J Blige Just Fine started playing, dj informed us "The Shuffle". Me and my little gang and few people started the dance, yes me doing the dance. While concetrating on my steps something was not right. I looked up. First off the club and people stopped and formed a large circle round us. I was like haven't you ever seen black people bust a move. The looks where like "what are you people doing." I really thought I was in a circus but it was cool.

Then you get people trying to do the dance. People NO your in the way so often I had to push them out the way according to my friend. I always get random people saying "teach me teach me"

Now that I know the dance its quite simple really two steps right/left then two steps left/right, two steps back then bend down and come up then hop 90 degress anti clockwise and repeat. If you get lost do what I do watch the other people doing the dance around you.

I was always bit nervous of doing that dance at the start, but now I can't wait for the next time to bust a move.
